Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel and rooms clean. Located on lovely street with plenty of cafes/restaurants. Close to 2 metro stations for easy access to town centre.
It is one the best budget places
Very good quality service and tasty breakfast
Shared bathroom clean enough, never had to wait.
My room was heavily smelling of smoke, although declared non-smoker. Noisy, too.
I love the breakfast and the place where the hotel is. Its not too far of the downtown and the train station is 10min by foot. The area is safe and full of restaurants and shops and cute cafes. The area is very quite and the staff were nice. The bathrooms were very clean, even if they were shared.
The hotel doesn't have elevator. If you a heavy laggage it can be a problem. Its a little old and the rooms are very simple with TV but no phone, just like a 1 star hotel.
Located on the nice shopping street.
It was near the location where I had a business appointment.
It was really a one star hotel, no toilet or shower in the room. The hallway was not heated. The toilet was not located near my room.
Lot of supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
Small heater and almost no heater in the bathroom.
To be honest ...I just liked the hotel staff and the little courtyard downstairs with the italian restaurant.
The hotel really needs to be renovated inside !!! It needs heaters in the rooms !!! For a woman it,s scary to stay there alone ,the corridors in the second floor are dark and not very inviting ,not to say scary at night.
Very clean, safe and comfortable. Great price and good breakfast for you.
Minor bad point – there is no bath/WC inside, only separate bath/WC for personal use.
It's not the Ritz, but for the price you pay it is very good value. Staff were accommodating. Although we arrived after the designated check in time, a key was left with clear instructions towards the room. Facilities were a bit old and worn but very clean. It wasn't exactly in a thriving part of town but there was a great Turkish restaurant just down the road, and close enough to metro and train.
There were no staff members there at night and the stairwell which lead to the rooms opened right on to the street. This was completely fine for us, but I think I might have felt a bit uncomfortable about this if I had been travelling alone as a female. In a group though, it was no problem. Also, if you are not in Berlin for long, it might be better to stay centrally, where bars and cafes stay open late.
The helpful staff
separate Bathrooms, but we knew what we were getting into
Very nice small hotel with good location. The stuff was friendly and the room for that price very comfortable.
Perfect location for me because I wanted to be in the south of Berlin, and it is closer to Schönefeld if you're flying in there, but this is pretty out of the way for most people wanting to experience the more touristy attractions in central Berlin.
Although my room was large and clean, it was pretty shabby with broken footboard on the bed and bedside lamp. No basic provisions such as kettle or hairdryer and it was very expensive. If I had not been committed to be in Berlin on those dates I'd never have booked in there.
I stayed at the hotel with my boyfriend. The room was spacious, clean, and not noisy. On our floor there were 2 shower rooms, and a sink in a room. The hotel has a good location: many shops and cafes around, and 10 min walk to a metro station. Very good value for the money.
The breakfast room is lacking some coziness... It was cold, and breakfast itself was quite boring. So, we went to a cozy cafe instead...
